It all began at an elementary school dance, where Robby and Eileen’s paths first crossed in the most unexpected way. Robby was there with his daughter Eve (then in 3rd grade), and Eileen was with her daughter Nyla (then in 4th grade). While on the conga line, Robby cut in next to Eileen and, with a grin, said, "Well, this is an awkward way to meet somebody." And just like that, the spark was lit.

From that moment on, Robby quickly won over not only Eileen but also Isabella and Nyla. On their first night together, Robby sang karaoke with Bella and aced a Jeopardy game that Nyla had created about Disney movies (his knowledge of all things Disney was impressive!). Eileen, in turn, became close with Eve over their shared love for mischief and their "bad bra" club (a secret society of girls who break the rules), while she bonded with Jude over their shared passion for math and pointing out all the things in the world that don’t make any sense.

Six months after their first date, Robby proposed to Eileen in a helicopter ride over New York City—her favorite city. Three months later, they moved into a new house big enough for their new, blended family—a true Brady Bunch-style home.

Now, the house is always buzzing with noise, laughter, singing, arguing, chasing, and of course, practical jokes. The kids love each other like true siblings, and every day feels like an adventure.
